Socio Economic Development Plan for Papua New Guinea

Papua New Guinea has awarded TranserveSG the contract to execute a comprehensive 6-month Socio-Economic Study of West Sepik. The study will also cover potential Road/Rail network to connect to a proposed Free Trade Industrial Zone (FTIZ - a proposed port near Vanimo) that is designed to serve several Special Economic Zones (SEZs) within the West Sepik Province.

Along with this study, TranserveSG will also be studying the viability of incorporate possible Off-Grid Electrification (through VAWT energy solutions) for rural villages that will provide clean energy to charge E-Tricycles as farm-transportation mode to facilitate movement of goods to key-nodes that will become value-add manufacturing centres to process their local produces before exporting them through the proposed FTIZ.
